Engagement Session | Nashville, TN

What started as a perfectly planned session at Nashville's beautiful War Memorial quickly turned into an unexpected change of plans - but honestly, you'd never know it from the photos.

When we arrived, the War Memorial was completely under construction (like, fences up, no-go-zone kind of construction). But just steps away was the Tennessee State Capitol - also partially under renovation - but full of timeless charm and stunning architecture. We decided to embrace it and keep moving forward. And let me tell you, I'm so glad we did.

These two made the session an absolute dream. Their connection, their laughter, and the way they looked at each other made my job a breeze. Despite the unexpected hiccups, the love between them shined brighter than any backdrop we could've planned for.

Sessions like this are the best reminder that location is only part of the story - the people and the connection are what truly matter. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this fall... preferable with a little less scaffolding but just as much joy.
